Manali to Batal ..( 100 kms ) Travel by jeep
from Manali to Batal over the Rohtang Pass (4580
m), overnight in tents in Batal . |

Day 5 |
Batal to Kaza (80
kms ). Travel from Batal to Kaza by jeep over
the Kunjum Pass (4558m) . Overnight in tents in
Kaza .

Kaza ....
Morning visit to KI Monastery (12kms from Kaza
) Centuries old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms
and coridors and one time acted as a fort also
visit the small gompa at kibber 8 kms further
ahead . |

Day 7 |
Kaza – Sichling
. Visiting Pin Valley the land of ibex and
snow leopard also visit to an old monastery Gungri
in Pin Valley . Overnight in tents . |

Day 8
|
Sichling to Tabo .(
46 Kms ) Travel from Sichling to Tabo by jeep
enroute visiting Dhankar gompa . This gompa rests
high over the valley and is a stupendous example
for local archetecture . It is regarded to have
oncebeen a fort and was also the residence of the
ruler of Spiti . Also visit the Lalung gompa .

Day 9 |
Tabo to Nako – (69
kms ) . Travel by surface from Tabo to Nako . On
arrival at Nako a beautiful village located by the
bank of lake , setup camp visit the village and
the Buddhist temple . |

Day 10 |
Nako – Kalpa .
(125kms ) From Nako to Kalpa enroute visiting
confluence of Satluj and Spiti river at Khab .
Overnight in tents . |

Day 11 |
Kalpa -- Sangla (
51kms ) . Kalpa to Sangla enroute visiting Kamru
fort and village . Overnight in tents .

Day 12 |
Sangla -- Sarahan .
( 91 kms ) . Travel from Sangla to Sarahan by
jeep , on arrival check in hotel afternoon visit
the famous Bhimakali temple regarded as one of the
Shaktipeeths. |
